Borderlands 3 has a particular sense of humour that either really clicks for you or it doesn’t. For those who spend time repeating memes ad nauseum though, Borderlands 3 is hard to beat for its on-the-nose take on streamer culture, popular memes, and just about every hot topic doing the rounds these days. Easy? Yes. But very funny? Double yes.
Most games are better with friends, but Borderlands 3 is a game explicitly designed for you and your mates to kill time. It’s that same addictive mix of looting, shooting, and skill tree manipulation, this time on an even grander scale. Borderlands 3 is a game which really clicks in co-op, and the more the merrier. One character alone can a trifle dull, but four unique characters each with their own skill trees is where the real fun (and chaos) begins.
Love or hate its humour, one thing Borderlands has always done is ensure its core shooting is awesome. Borderlands 3 is no different. There are squillions of insane guns to enjoy, comprehensive endgame systems, proper co-op, and loot, glorious loot. For those bored by your bog standard shotguns and assault rifles, Borderlands 3 offers something a little different.
