Asgard’s Wrath was the surprising moment AAA quality came to VR. This is an immersive fantasy adventure like no other, and arguably the greatest showcase of virtual reality yet. In Asgard’s Wrath, players can experience Norse myth from within, dining in the halls of Valhalla, slaying giants, and even becoming a god.

VR is fantastic for the sort of throwaway, hilarious fun which has sadly fallen out of fashion among the big budget releases. Vacation Simulator fits the bill perfectly, offering up a sun-kissed take on Job Simulator with typically funny results. You know the drill by now - this is how robots of the future believe humans used to holiday based on some very sketchy, and literal, knowledge of human history.

Ghost Giant is the sort of experience VR was designed for, delving the player into a colourful, wonderfully realised tale with plenty of emotional depth. A point and click adventure at heart, Ghost Giant is an adorable tale of the growing friendship between a boy and a ghost, prodding and poking the environment in order to help him along his way.
